Project Management Institute Southern Alberta Chapter (PMI-SAC) is a vibrant chapter, which has been growing over the last few years. Over the last couple years, we have moved from being the 32nd largest chapter worldwide to the 26th largest. Our membership stats indicate we are approaching 2000 members, making us the second largest chapter in Canada.

A supportive membership affords our chapter the following opportunities:

We believe these events offer the membership a great opportunity to locally hone their skills. For example, the Professional Development Conference is a local two-day seminar with on topic keynote speakers and professional development opportunities in smaller information sessions. We also have other re-occurring programs such as our Ambassador Program from our Outreach area, and our six-month Mentorship Program is open to all chapter members.

We also offer many re-occurring education events, as Registered Education Provider of the Project Management Institute (PMI) to assist members in seeking PMI designations.

Each year we conduct a survey of our membership. These surveys provide feedback to the Board of Directors on the interests of our membership, their level of satisfaction with the Chapter benefits, and many many new ideas from members on what we can offer that's new.
