PMO Townhall
PMI Southern Alberta Chapter has launched a series of a lunch hour events called the PMO Townhall. The meeting will encourage structured, open discussion on topics relating to Information Technology (IT) Project Management Offices (PMOs). A panel of local IT PMO leaders and senior project managers will engage with the audience to address questions, exchange ideas and debate opinions on a specific topic.
The meetings are open to anyone to attend and is intended to encourage idea exchange and professional networking. The goal of the meetings is to support discussion and knowledge sharing and professional networking.
Project managers, IT/IS leaders, developers, business analysts, project team members, consultants - indeed any professional who has worked with or been impacted by a PMO - should consider attending these informative and free lunch-time sessions. Each session will be a facilitated meeting, an open forum with a panel of 3-4 engaging in structured discussion with attendees. The townhall sessions will take place 4 times through the calendar year.
Topics for the lunch hour sessions will be announced prior to each meeting.
