The recent surge in social media has left many people wondering if they should create and manage an online identity. This dinner meeting will provide attendees the language and tools needed to craft their own social media strategy.

Social media such as LinkedIN and Twitter are common tools used by professionals to control their online identity. But will these tools drive any real value for you? Will you spend too much time managing content? By addressing these questions we will help you understand how you can create something that drives value for your company and career without draining time away from your real world projects.

With a few key tools you can create a simple online brand that is easy to maintain. Those who come to this session with a clear idea of who they are and how they want to be seen will gain the most value. We’ll discuss how you can leverage other brands such as those of your completed projects, past employers, and the Project Management Institute to amplify your personal brand.

Join Kirk Graham, a self proclaimed computer geek who bought his first computer at age four, as he demystifies social media while providing tips, tricks, and take-home guides on how to keep it simple in the digital jungle.
