The PMI Southern Alberta Chapter is a vibrant chapter which has been growing over the last few years. If you are new or an already existing member of the chapter, it is important to note that you are a part of something special. The chapter in the last couple years has moved from being the 32nd largest chapter in the world to the 26th largest, out of approximately 250 chapters. As of recently our membership stats indicate we are just shy of 2000 members, which makes us ithe second largest chapter in Canada.
With such a supportive membership this affords our chapter a lot of different opportunities such as:

We are proud of these events and believe they offer the membership a great opportunity to locally hone their skills. For example, the Professional Development Conference is a local two day seminar with on topic keynote speakers and professional development opportunities in the smaller information sessions. We also have other re-occurring programs such as our Ambassador Program from our Outreach area, and our six month Mentorship Program which is open to all chapter members. We also offer many re-occurring education events, as Registered Education Provider of the PMI, to assist members in seeking PMI designations.
As a vibrant chapter and board we are always looking for ways to improve the membership’s experience. So if there is anything you would like to comment on or suggest, please let me know.
