| | Topic | Maximizing Project Performance by Managing Behavior Traditional Project Management practices in any industry have been focused on an attempt at managing and balancing project budgets, schedules, and in most cases, quality of the project deliverables. Although these objects have been the focus of the project manager, managing the people accountable, or who have control over most of these project results, has been met with several challenges. Indicators of these challenges are seen in cost overruns, missed deadlines, and rework of deliverables due to questionable quality. Applied Behavioral Analysis Science to Business is a scientific approach to managing the human performance of the most important assets on the project – people. Since “all” project results are a product of what people do (their behaviors), then the most important subject matter to a project manager is the scientific understanding of “behavior”. Behavioral Science precisely helps us analyze, predict, and control the behavior which drives project results. This presentation will focus on how Applied Behavioral Analysis Science to Business (defined as Performance Management by Aubrey Daniels, PhD circa 1968) precisely helps any project manager get exemplary project results by scientifically managing the performance of their project team members. | | Agenda | February 26, 2009 - 5:00-6:00pm - Networking
